Greetings Members and Friends of the 142nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Thank you to those who attended today's meeting. We had 33 of the 142nd attend.

Designated $350 for the Flag Fund. Unit T-Shirts will be available this year. Prices and details to be released later. A Committee to set-up a Remembrance Day Dinner was established. The committee is: Stacey Black, Kathy Bingaman, & Charles Greco. 4 New Members were added: Bradley Keefer, Bruce Bowers, Sheryl Williams , and Jeffrey Tripp. Membership pending meeting with the Executive Committee: Brian Petkash, Dale Diehl, Charles Mattina, & Stan Zellars. Louis Welsh was voted in as an Honorary Life Member. No By-Laws were submitted or changed. There will be a unit meal planned at the events for May and August for the unit. We have an exciting schedule planned for the 2nd year of the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, with a couple key 150th events.
142nd Penna. Vol. Infantry Schedule
April 20-22* Chambersburg, PA 1st Battalion Drill $10.00, a Birneys event, this will be our Spring drill, which will include rebels. Skirmishes planned both days, on a farm west of Chambersburg. Rations will be issued

May 19-20 Army Heritage Center, Carlisle, PA, all military weekend
No fee...email Keith though if your going . Living History. Thousands attend this. Unit will earn money for attending. Stellar event.
June 16-17** Old Bedford Village, Bedford, PA $6.00, add $12.00 if you want meals.
July 6-8** 149th Gettysburg, Gettysburg PA $12.00 to March 15
August 11-12*** Harpers Ferry National Park , WV Our weekend- FREE
Maximum effort event.
Sept 14,15,16 150th Antietam - Sharpsburg, MD $10.00, Goes up to $15.00 on Feb. 1. This will be a big one. Get the cheap registration now.
Oct 20-21* 148th Cedar Creek , Middletown, VA One of our favorites. Registration not established yet
Nov 17 - Remembrance Day, No registration fees, let us know your coming. Dinner to be established.
Dec 1,2 Harpers Ferry Christmas Program Free (Secondary event for December)
Dec 8,9 150th Battle of Fredericksburg , Fredericksburg, VA
Registration not established yet (Primary event - the original 142nd participated in this battle). Organizers are building a period pontoon bridge to cross the Rappahanack River, battles in town.
